Art, Joe, and Kip preparing for another delivery of premium venison to the Jubilee Kitchen

"We hunt the park for the good of the park; if we don't hunt the deer, before long we'll lose our songbirds and small game and new tree growth. It's been a very successful program."

RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR WILD RESOURCES
Just Published!
On Friday October 16th, Joe McCluskey and Art Klajnowski from WMA picked up the first of several deliveries of ground venison from Kips Deer Processing in Carnegie and delivered it to the Jubilee Kitchen in Pittsburgh's Hill District.  This delivery of nearly 2,400 pounds of high-quality protein was donated by WMA hunters and processed by Kip for the shelter's patrons.

Most of the deer donated were harvested in conjunction with the controlled archery hunts taking place in some of Allegheny County's parks, and a tip of the hat goes out to Andy Beachle and the rest of the fine folks at the Parks Department who continue to support our efforts! .
